Conley To Visit Ohio State For The Game

Michigan commit Gareon Conley has been looking to take a few visits after the season, to be sure of his choice of schools. He has mentioned Ohio State and Oregon as possible destinations, and this Saturday will see Conley at Ohio State to watch the game with Michigan.

Four-star cornerback Gareon Conley committed to Michigan last March, and then went on to have an extremely impressive season for his Massillon football team.

Recently, Conley has stated that he is interested in taking a few visits and mentioned Ohio State and Oregon as possible schools to see. Conley confirmed Thursday that his first visit will be this Saturday.

"I will be visiting Ohio State this Saturday," Conley confirmed via text message. "I will be on the Ohio State recruiting list, but I'm just going to the game."

Earlier this month, Conley stated he wanted to take a few visits, in order to be sure of his Michigan commitment. Now that his team is out of the playoffs, it appears he will follow through with his plan.

"Oregon has not offered me yet, but they told me they would offer if I take an official visit there, and I want to do that," Conley told FoxSportSNext on November 6th. "I'm going to do that, but it might not happen for a while, because I'm planning on playing the next four weeks. The same with Ohio State, and I can't tell them when I will be able to visit. I'm not even sure if that would be an official, or unofficial visit. Ohio State has offered me a scholarship. I respect the Michigan coaches, and they have to do what they have to do, and I have to do the same. I'm not really going to think about this stuff until after my season is over, and I'm planning on that not happening for four more weeks. That's really all I want to say."

FoxSportsNext will continue to monitor Conley's situation, and will update as necessary. Recommended Stories
