Junior Lineman Drawing Interest

Brady Taylor recently completed an impressive season at Columbus Bishop Ready, and he is drawing recruiting attention. The offensive tackle is a player to watch in Ohio for 2014.

Columbus Bishop Ready offensive tackle Brady Taylor is an impressive line prospect in the 2014 class in Ohio, and a player to watch in the junior class.

"I had a good season and really improved from my sophomore year," Taylor stated. "I was a lot stronger, which really helped. I play basketball, which helps with my foot speed. I have started the past two seasons."

Taylor, 6-foot-5, 255-pounds, also plays defensive end in high school, and college recruiters are showing interest.

"I've heard from Northwestern, Boston College, Indiana and Penn State," he explained. "Northwestern has been at my basketball practice and they've been to the school twice to see me. They are supposed to come back to see a game, and they have my schedule. I did real well at their camp last year, and will be going again next summer. Bowling Green has also been to the school."

"Indiana was the first to show interest and I visited there for two games," he added. "I've also been to Northwestern for a game. I really liked both places a lot, and I'm interested in both. Coach (Charlie) Fisher from Penn State is showing a lot more interest recently, and I'm definitely interested in them a lot. I'm supposed to be going to Indiana and Northwestern for basketball games this winter."

FoxSportsNext will continue to monitor Taylor's progress over the next year.
