Lash Hearing From Recruiters

Massillon junior offensive tackle Chase Lash was one of the more improved players in the 2014 class in Ohio this season. College recruiters have taken notice and he is awaiting his first offer.

Massillon junior offensive tackle Chase Lash is coming off an impressive season, one in which he was vastly improved over his sophomore year.

Lash, 6-foot-4, 270-pounds, is starting to receive increased recruiting attention, and although still looking for his first offer, it might not be far off.

"I've had a few schools coming in to Massillon to see me in the past few weeks," Lash stated. "Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and West Virginia have been in the school recently, and I would say Michigan and West Virginia are standing out to me."

"I was at Michigan for camp last year and I went to a game last year," he added. "They want to see me get better this off-season, and then go back to their camp next summer. I did well at camp last summer and they said they were impressed with how I played this season."

"West Virginia wants me to come down this winter for a junior day, and then come back in the spring for football practice," he continued. "I've been to West Virginia three times now, and they said I'm in the mix to get an offer. I like everything about the program."

With another off-season to get even better, Lash figures to be in line for offers by next summer's camp season.

"I'm working very hard on getting stronger, and I'm concentrating on my footwork daily," Lash stressed. "I still think I can get a lot better."

Here are a few clips of Lash in action from this past season. He is #72 in orange going against four-star Billy Price, #54, in white. Recommended Stories
