Wolf Adding Offers & Interest

Ohio tight end Ethan Wolf continues to see high interest and scholarship offers come his way. Who has jumped on the bandwagon? FOXSportsNEXT.com has the latest.

Ohio has become a hotbed for new Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops and assistant coach Vince Marrow.

With a handful of Ohio prospects already offered by the duo another offer will soon be handed out to Minster (Ohio) three-star tight end Ethan Wolf.

"Kentucky just offered," said Wolf. "I know Kentucky has some new coaches and they are going to air it out on offense. This was a big surprise to us as we don't really know a lot about them and the offer is not 100% yet.

"We are going down for a visit and they are going to offer when we get there. They want to get us down to campus, so we're going to stop on our way back from visiting Louisville."

One thing that impressed Wolf about the Wildcats is their ties to Ohio and what Coach Marrow had to say about those from the Buckeye state.

"He said he's an Ohio guy and they are going to recruit the heck out of Ohio," said Wolf. "He said they know the style of play we bring and they are going to be coming up here to get it. So that is good news to all of us."

While Wolf knows the Wildcats will express their interest when he arrives on campus. Another program pulled the trigger on Monday.

"North Carolina State offered today," said Wolf. "I've been talking with (assistant) Coach (Eddie) Faulkner and know their offensive coordinator came from Wisconsin. So I'm assuming they are going to bring the same offensive tactics there.

"They run kind of a pro-style and hopefully they use their tight ends a lot. We have not done a lot of research on them, so we're going to try and make our way over there in the spring."

The Wolfpack and Wildcats are not alone in their pursuit of Wolf.

"Tennessee has kind of been in the mix as has Louisville," explained Wolf. "I just received a friend request from Nebraska and I'm talking with Arkansas a little bit. My contact at West Virginia (Bill Bedenbaugh) is now at Oklahoma now. So I gave him a call last night and he said he watched my film with their offensive coordinator.

"He said they really like my film and plan on keeping in contact and see how things go. So we're going to keep in contact and try and build a strong relationship and hopefully something pulls through.
