One of Ohio’s top quarterback prospects has made the call and given a verbal
to in state school Bowling Green. Anthony Turner who’s recruiting slowed during
the summer, saw many schools call during the fall recruiting period. Bowling
Green won the battle with schools like West Virginia, Iowa, Ball State and
Kentucky.
The 6’3 athletic quarterback saw an early season injury slow his passing
game, but his team Dayton Chaminade-Julienne has a 8-1 record going into week 10
of the regular season. The only loss on the season was Division I Clayton
Northmont in week 1. This week will see Turner and the Eagles with its biggest
battle of the year as they play cross-town rival Kettering Alter.
West Virginia was Anthony’s early leader, but the Falcons program has shown
great strides during the past few years with great quarterback play from Josh Harris.
OhioPrepScene wishes Anthony the best at the next level of play at Bowling
Green.
