UNDER RADAR PROSPECT GIVES VERBAL

Each and every year players in Ohio go under the radar. This player is no different, but he's got the scholarship offer in hand. This week he gave a Big 10 school his verbal.

Youngstown Cardinal Mooney senior Ron Stoops has given a verbal to Michigan State University. While Stoops has gone under the radar he impressed Coach John L. Smith and the MSU staff enough for an offer.

Stoops is a 6’3 190 pound safety prospect who’s been timed at 4.5 in the 40. This is just another of a long line of recruits Coach Smith has taken from NE Ohio. Coach Smith has work this part of the state hard during his time as head coach at Louisville and is showing the same desire since taking the head coaching job at MSU.

OPS is working on getting more information on Ron and about his choice of MSU.
