Tournament Director Jeremy Treatman runs what might be the best high school
basketball tournaments in the country and Ohio is blessed to be one of the
recipients of his many events.
Although attendance was down in this the first of the post-Lebron era,
the excitement was as if the King was in the house. Talking about good teams: Toledo St.
John’s, Princeton, Brookhaven, Troy, Akron St. Vincent/St. Mary (ASVSM),
Canton McKinley, and Springfield South would all have to be considered top 20
teams in the state and all in one place on one day- WOW!
OPS Best Performances of the day:
Best game: Easy- Chaminade Julienne’s double
overtime victory over Troy was better than most college games played in this
arena!
Best player (MVP): Jamelle Cornley- pure dominance
reflected in his 25 point 10 rebound effort! I know he’s short, but he’s so damn
good!
