The 2005 Flyin To The Hoop Tournament Field has been
set. This year’s event, to be held
Jan. 15th through 17th at the Vandalia Butler high School
Student Activities Center, will consist of two four team tournament brackets
marking the return of both the Top Gun bracket and the Flyin To The Hoop
bracket. In addition to the
tournament bracket games there will be a minimum of five shootout games. The field is comprised 17 teams from
around the country and Southwest Ohio.
An additional four teams could be added by creating a 14th and
15th game. Tournament
organizers are likely to fill those games with teams from Southwest Ohio over
the summer.

As in past years, this year’s field runs deep with future
college stars. This year’s field
currently projects to include almost 30 future Division I college athletes. The ability to bring that kind of talent
together for one event is what makes Flyin To The Hoop one of the premier prep
events in the country.
