COMMITMENT NOW OFFICAL FOR KLEINSMITH

Last week there was news that one Ohio prospect had given a verbal. That was false, this one is true. We have the offical news on Joe Kleinsmith of Lakewood St. Edwards from his father.

To say the recruiting process is overwhelming is an understatement. After hearing from over 50 colleges and receiving offers from the Big 10, Big East, MAC and Ivy League and numerous campus visits, Joe has given his commitment to Indiana University.

He is excited to pursue his goal of continuing his football and academic career at a highly rated university in the Big 10. Joe is excited and confident of his decision after a great visit last week and was very impressed with the coaches, the campus and the
academic offerings.

Head Coach Dinardo, Coach Mangiero and Coach McConnell were great and gave Joe the impression he would be able to contribute to the team as a true freshman and have the opportunity to kick and punt during his career.

Joe has been very fortunate, as it is common for kicker/punters not to be offered until late in their senior year, and now he can focus his energy on the upcoming season where he is slotted to play receiver and def. back in addition to his kicking responsibilities at St. Edward High School.
