In week two
Yale and Brown called. I visited Duke on September 6th and watched them play
Western Carolina. I had a great time and enjoyed the experience. This past
weekend I visited Ohio University and watched them play Minnesota.
As for the season our team is doing very well. We are 3-1 with
our loss to Big Walnut last week. As for my stats I’m doing pretty well, I have
around 20 tackles and 3 interceptions along with 3 pbu’s. Our defense has posted
two shutouts so far this season. I don’t play much on offense and only have 1
catch for 14 yards.
We would like to thank Jared for helping us stay updated on how
the 2003 season and recruiting is going for him.

OPS NOTES: We have seen tape on Jared and came
away feeling he is very skilled and can play Safety at the DI level. Lack
of camps early has keep Jared from reaching the interest he deserves. This
summer he tried to make up for that and showed very well at many DI camps.
He has a nose for the ball and makes sure tackles and the skills
to make many interceptions. He also matches up with todays taller
receivers. His stock is only going to rise with his play during the 2003
season.
