Jared Ison of Olentangy High School has made up his mind and given his verbal to Cornell University. The 6'3 - 175 lb. defensive back/wide receiver saw several DI programs give early looks, but could never get one to make a final offer.

In our early stories on Jared, we spoke that football wasn't the only thing he was looking at in a school. Jared is a great student and academics would play a major part in his choice of a school. New Cornell Head Coach Jim Knowles found a hidden gem in Jared and with the academics, Jared found everything he was looking for in a school.
