Broke his leg during the first game of his senior season. Gave Ohio State his verbal commitment prior to the 2004 season. Hartline was all-conference, all-league and all-district as a junior. He's a three-year varsity starter that played quarterback and wide receiver in his career at Glen Oak. Junior year he had 1,200 yards passing in 6 games before moving to wide receiver. Hartline had 400 yards receiving as a junior. Being recruited as a wide receiver. One of Ohio's top wide receivers and overall prospects. Great size, speed, and overall athletic ability. Also an excellent student.
Hartline: "I think Ohio State's style of play fits my game. I'm a little bigger than most receivers and I have deceptive speed."
