| JUCO transfer from Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Fla. (played HS ball at Natchez (Miss.) High School). Averaged 17 points, 5.5 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 2003-04 and was first-team NJCAA All-American. Is a good outside shooter (91-221 for 44% from 3-pt range and 108-129 (83%) from the foul line in 03-04) and is also a tough playeer and fine rebounder.
6-2 shooting guard Je'Kel Foster transferred from Howard (TX) CC to Chipola (FL) CC after leading Howard in scoring with 15.3 points per game. He also averaged 5.4 rebounds per game as the Hawks advanced to the Region V Championship Game, losing to South Plains (TX) CC. Foster is a native of Natchez, Mississippi. |
